Activités de recherche

Nathaly Lhermitte-Vallarino s'intéresse aux sauropsides et amphibiens et étudie les interactions hôte-parasite. Sa recherche se base sur la morphologie, la biologie et la co-évolution des Nématoides parasites et de leurs hôtes lissamphibians et lépidosauriens. Elle a aussi étudié la distribution comparative d'espèces de nématodes des montagnes d'Afrique de l'Est et de Madagscar. Depuis 2002 elle a décrit de nombreux taxons de Nématodes de la famile des Rhabdiasidae.
