Ganoderma is a genus of basidiomycete fungi that has been used for thousands of years by various civilizations around the world. It is now attracting increasing scientific attention due to its remarkable biological properties.
This PhD project aims to explore the genetic, ecological, and chemical diversity of the Ganoderma genus through an integrative approach combining chemical and metabolomic analyses with phylogenetic studies.
The goal is to establish correlations between metabolic profiles, genetic signatures, and ecological parameters, while identifying new molecular entities and evaluating their biological activity for potential cosmetic applications.
This thesis is conducted under a CIFRE industrial agreement, in joint supervision between the Muséum national d’Histoire naturelle (S. Prado, MCAM) and Laboratoire Clarins (C. Audoin).
