PHABB aims to train the next generation of researchers and engineers in tackling the biological and evolutionary processes linked to microbial community dynamics, virulence and host specificity of pathogens that target desirable or undesirable algae. Our long-term aim is to develop new disease management strategies in seaweeds and biocontrol of harmful algal blooms.
